CHAPTER 419.

AN ACT to repeal Section two of Chapter four
hundred and thirty-four of the Acts of the Gene-
ral Assembly of Maryland, passed at January
session, eighteen hundred and sixty-eight, enti-
tled "An Act to grant Donations to Wicomico
County, for the use of Academics and Schools,"
and to re-enact the same with amendments.

Repealed and
re-enacted.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Section two of Chapter four
hundred and thirty-four of the Acts of the General
Assembly of Maryland, passed January session
eighteen hundred and sixty-eight, entitled an Act
to grant donations to Wicomico County, for the
use of academies and schools, be and the same is
hereby repealed and re-enacted so as to read as fol-
lows:

Treasurer to
pay.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the Treasurer,
upon the warrant of the Comptroller, shall pay
annually, on the first Monday in April, to the
Trustees of Fairmount Academy, in Somerset
County, the sum of four hundred dollars, which
said sum shall be inclusive of the appropriation of
two hundred dollars heretofore donated to said
Academy in Section two of said Act.

In force.

Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 420.

AN ACT to amend the third Section of the
seventy-fifth Article of the Code of Public
General Laws relating to Pleading, Practice and
Process.

Repealed.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the third Section of the seventy-
fifth Article of the Code of Public General Laws,
he and the same is hereby repealed, and the fol-
lowing substituted therefor:
