BALTIMORE CITY.
To the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, as
per Article four, Section one hundred and twenty-
seven, of Public Local Laws, entitled, Auctions,
twenty thousand dollars; to the Maryland Insti-
tute for the Promotion of Mechanic Arts, three
thousand dollars; to the members of the Appeal
Tax Court of Baltimore City, fifty dollars each,
(one hundred and fifty dollars;) to the Register of
Baltimore City, three hundred dollars; to the
Maryland Penitentiary, for so much on account of
the salaries of its officers, eight thousand dollars;
for the support of the Maryland Penitentiary,
thirty thousand dollars; to the House of Refuge,
fifteen thousand dollars; to the Rev'd. Edward
Brenan, for the use of St. Edward's Academy, in
the city of Cumberland, to be applied to the sup-
port and education of free scholars of said Academy,
seven hundred and fifty dollars; to P. M. Gram-
lich, the sum of seven hundred and fifty dollars,
for the German Catholic school, of Cumberland;
to the Home of the Friendless, fifteen hundred
dollars; to St. Vincent's Infant Asylum, in the
city of Baltimore, fifteen hundred dollars; to the
House of the Good Shepherd, in the city of Balti-
more, one thousand dollars; to St. Agnes Hospital
the sum of five hundred dollars; to the Children's
Aid Society of Baltimore City, five hundred dol-
lars; to the Baltimore Orphan Asylum, one thous-
and dollars; to the St. Mary's Industrial School,
six thousand dollars; to the Maryland Institution
for the Instruction of the Blind, as per Act of
eighteen hundred and sixty-eight, Chapter two
hundred and five, fifteen thousand dollars; to the
Shelter for Colored Orphans, four hundred dollars;
to St. Anthony's Orphan Asylum, four hundred
dollars; to St. Vincent's Orphan Asylum, four
hundred dollars; to the German Orphan Asylum,
four hundred dollars; to St. Mary's Orphan Asy-
lum, four hundred dollars; to the Union Orphan
Asylum, four hundred dollars; to the Manual
Labor School, four hundred dollars; to the Boy's
Home, five hundred dollars; to the State Agricul-
tural and Mechanical Association, ten thousand
dollars; provided, that in case of a dissolution, the
interest of the State shall be increased the sum
hereby appropriated; one thousand dollars to the
Law Department of the University of Maryland.
