for the education of the Deaf and Dumb, twenty
thousand dollars; for the Agricultural College,
six thousand dollars; for donations to Colleges,
Academies and Schools, thirty-one thousand five
hundred dollars; provided, that none of the ap-
propriations to Colleges, Academies and Schools
shall be paid to any such institutions unless said
institutions shall, before the twentieth day of Jan-
uary, eighteen hundred and seventy-two, make a
full report to the Comptroller, as required by Sec-
tion four of Article eighty-four of the Code of
Public General Laws.

CONTINGENT FUND.

To the Executive, for the Contingent Fund pro-
vided in the Constitution to be placed at his dis-
posal, seven thousand five hundred dollars; for
the Contingent Fund of the Treasury Department,
one thousand five hundred dollars; for printing
blank licenses, protests, circulars, warrants, and
other books for the Comptroller's office, two thous-
and five hundred dollars; for the contingent fund
of the Library, including the expense of postage,
porterage and freight, stationery for use of office,
menial services, advertising and printing, five
hundred dollars; for the augmentation of the
Library as provided by Section seventeen of Arti-
cle fifty-five, of the Code of Public General Laws,
two thousand dollars; for the cost of printing the
annual report of the Comptroller, one thousand
dollars; for the expense of advertising the list of
foreign insurance agents, three hundred dollars;

for the expense of fuel and lights for the public
buildings and grounds, three thousand dollars;

for the contingent fund for the Commissioner of
the Land Office, four hundred dollars; for the
postage of the Executive and Treasury Depart-
ments, the Land Office, the Adjutant General's
office, the Secretary of the Senate and Chief Clerk
of the House of Delegates, one thousand dollars.

dollars; to the Chief Clerk of the House of Dele-
