CHAPTER 391. AN ACT to amend the Act of the General Assem- bly passed in the year eighteen hundred and sixty-six, Chapter one hundred and fifty-six, entitled "An Act to establish the Maryland Industrial School for Girls" by providing for the appointment of State Directors therein, and the exercise thereby, of the powers of a Female House of Refuge.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That the third Section of the Act of the General Assembly passed in the year eighteen hundred and sixty-six, Chapter one hundred and fifty-six, entitled "An Act to establish the Mary- land Industrial School for Girls," be and the same is hereby repealed, and that the following be and the same is hereby enacted as a substitute therefor.	Repealed and re-enacted.
Sec. 3. That the affairs of said Institution shall be managed by thirty Directors, fifteen of whom shall be chosen annually by the members on the first Tuesday in January, and five of whom shall be appointed annually in the month of January by the Mayor of the City of Baltimore, with the advice and consent of the Council of said city, and ten of whom to be severally resident of some county in this State, shall be appointed biennially in the month of January, by the Governor of the State	Organization.
