transport the same to market, and the said con-
demnation to be made in a similar or like manner
as prescribed in the Act, and particularly set forth
in the fifteenth section of the Act, incorporating
the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company, and
the several supplements which were, for the
lawful purposes of said company and the benefit of
its corporators, given and granted to the said com-
pany, as fully and perfectly as if the same were
herein again repeated, beginning the same at the
mines of said company, and running to a conve-
nient point or points on the line of any other rail-
road or railroads now constructed or that may be
hereafter constructed in Allegany County, and for
using and preserving the railroad, its necessary
vehicles and appurtenances, and every part
thereof.

Sec. 8. And be ii enacted, That nothing herein
contained shall be construed to give to said com-
pany banking privileges.

Sec. 9. And be if enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from and after its passage, and that the
same may he altered, amended or repealed by the
General Assembly.

AN ACT to legalize the Bequests made by John
Whitmore to certain Churches in Frederick
County.
WHEREAS, John Whitmore, of Frederick County,
deceased, did by will bequeath to the Lutheran
Church at Woodsboro, the sum of fifty dollars,
also, to Haugh's Lutheran Church fifty dollars,
and to Haugh's Reformed Church fifty dollars; therefore,

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the said bequest of the said
John Whitmore is hereby made legal, and the
executor or executors of the last will and testament
of said John Whitmore are hereby authorized to
