transportation of any parcel or article on such
Railroad or roads, any distance whatever, twenty-
five cents.

Not to issue.

Sec. 17. And be it enacted, That nothing herein
contained shall be taken or construed to authorize
the said Company, either directly or indirectly, to
exercise or use hanking privileges or to issue any
certificate or evidence of debt, to be used as cur-
rency.
|
May sell or
dispose of road
|
Sec. 18. And be it enacted, That the President,
Directors and Company of the said Harford County
Railroad may at any time after the completion of
their said road, by a vote of two-thirds of the
stockholders, according to the number of shares
held by them respectively, elect to sell and dispose
of absolutely or otherwise their entire road, to-
gether with all its rights, privileges and appur-
tenances, upon such terms as they may deem
proper and to the best interest and advantage of
said stockholders, or may lease or contract for the
working of the said road or roads; the General
Assembly reserves to itself the right to alter or
amend this Act at pleasure.

Sec. 19. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 366.
|
|
AN ACT appropriating a sum of money to be ex-
pended in removing the remains of the Confed-
erate dead, now lying in Frederick County, in
this State, to Mount Olivet Cemetery, adjoining
the city of Frederick, and for the erection of head
stones to the graves of said soldiers, so as to per-
manently mark and designate the same.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the sum of two thousand dol-
lars, or so much thereof as may be necessary, be
and the same is hereby appropriated, for the pur-
pose of removing to Mount Olivet Cemetery, adjoin-
