Mr. Harrington presented the petition of Solomon T.
Philips & Co., and other citizens of Dorchester county, pray-
ing a law for the protection of Fur in said county.

The petition of Thomas Tyler and other citizens of Dor-
chester county, praying the passage of a law for the protec-
tion of Fur in said county.

Also,

The petition of John Edgar and other citizens of Dorches-
ter county, praying the passage of a law for the better pro-
tection of Fur in said county.

Which were severally read and referred to the Dorchester
delegation.

Mr. Hammond presented the petition of citizens of Talbot
county praying the passage of an Act changing the manner
of paying jurors.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on the Ju-
diciary.

Mr. Choate presented the petition of G. S. Griffith, W. A.
Wisong and others, praying for the use of Public School
Houses for the purpose of holding Sabbath Schools therein.

Which was read and referred to the Committee on Educa-
