twelfth day of August and the thirty-first day of De- cember ;wild turkeys between the first day of No- vember and the first day of the ensuing March, and partridges from and after the twentieth day of October, in the year eighteen hundred and sev- enty-two, until the thirty-first day of December next ensuing, and between the twentieth day of October and the thirty-first day of December, an- nually thereafter.
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That any person or persons violating the preceding section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and on conviction thereof, in the Circuit Court for said county, shall be fined not less than ten or more than twenty dollars, or be imprisoned in the county jail not exceeding twenty days, or until payment of said tine and costs, one-half of said fine to be paid to the County Commissioners of said county, for the use of the Public Schools of said county, and the other half to the informer.	Penalty.
Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That this Act shall take effect from the date of its passage. Approved April 4, 1870.	In force.
CHAPTER 328.
AN ACT to repeal the twenty-ninth Section of the fifth Article of the Code of Public Local Laws, relating to the pay of the Crier of the Circuit Court for Calvert county, and to enact a substi- tute therefor.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Maryland, That Section twenty-nine of the fifth Article of the Code of Public Local Laws of the State, entitled, "Calvert County," relating to the pay of the Crier of the Circuit Court for Calvert county, be and the same is hereby repealed, and the following enacted as substitute therefor.		Repealed.
Sec. 29. The County Commissioners of the said county are hereby authorized and directed, at their next meeting for laying the county levy, and an-		Levy tax.
