he evidence in any Court in this State, and in de-
fault of the said Treasurer executing said bond he

of a suitable person for the remainder of the term
for which he shall have been appointed, and such
appointee shall, before he enters upon the duties of

tenor, and in like manner as hereinbefore directed.

sioners may require him to do so, present to them
for their inspection an exact account of all his re-
ceipts and expenditures, and a true and faithful
exhibit of all moneys that have come into his hands
and been paid out by him, and shall perform such
other duties as the County Commissioners may
