ceiving County Taxes. The County Commission-
ers of Prince George's County shall, upon the first
Tuesday in April, or within fifteen days thereafter,
in each and every year, appoint a Collector of State

Taxes, who shall hold office for one year, and may
he re-appointed, and shall give bond to the State
of Maryland in double the sum of State Taxes
placed in his hands for collection, which bond
shall be approved by the County Commissioners,
and be given within twenty days from the date of
appointment, and, upon failure to do so, the County
|

appointed.

Commissioners shall appoint a successor, and said
Collector shall be allowed a commission of six per
cent, upon the amount placed in his hands for col-
lection, if accounted for according to law; and it
it shall be the duty of the County Commissioners
to levy for said commission in the general levy of
State and County Taxes.

Sec. 55. And be if enacted, That all Acts or parts
of Acts inconsistent with this Act be and the same
are hereby repealed.

Sec. 56. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

AN ACT to repeal Sections eighty-two and eighty-
four of Article ten of the Code of Public Local
Laws, title "Dorchester County," .sub-title
"Collectors," relating to the Redemption of
Real Estate sold for taxes, and the mode of
recovering the possession thereof.

|
SECTION 1 . Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That sections eighty-two and eighty-
four of Article ten of the Code of Public Laws,
title "Dorchester County," sub-title "Collectors,"
relating to the redemption of real estate sold for
taxes and the mode of recovering the possession
thereof, be and the same are hereby repealed.
