LAWS OF MARYLAND.

 

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That on delivering to
each of the stockholders his or their proportion of
the shares so authorized to be distributed, the
Cumberland Coal and Iron Company shall receive

of the shares of capital stock of the Cumberland
Coal and Iron Company then held by such stock-
holder, and shall cancel the shares so surrendered,
and the capital of the last-named company shall
be reduced to the extent of the shares so surren-

been completed the capital stock of the Cumberland

hundred thousand dollars, consisting of five thou-

Business Agency Company.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Mary-
land, That Augustine J. Smith, Henry H. Lewis,

and the subscribers to the stock of the Company,
their successors and assigns, be and they are
hereby declared to be a body politic and corporate
