convenient after the Company is organized, and
thereafter at such times and places as the said
President and Directors of said Company may de-
termine.

Sec. 6. And be it enacted, That nothing herein
contained shall he construed to authorize the said
corporation to issue any note, token or device to be
used as currency.

Assembly reserves the right to alter, amend or re-
peal this Act at pleasure.

CHAPTER 194.

AN ACT to aid and assist the Fire Department
of Hagerstown.
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Mayor and Council of
Hagerstown be and they are hereby authorized and

empowered to appropriate the sum of one thousand
dollars to the First Hagerstown Hose Company,
for the purpose of assisting said Company in pur-
chasing part of a lot of ground in Hagerstown for
the erection of a building in which to store their
engine, hose and other apparatus; and that the
said Mayor and Council of Hagerstown be and
they are hereby further authorized and empowered

to levy the amount of said appropriation upon the
taxable property of said town, at the time next
ensuing the passage of this Act when other taxes
are levied by said Mayor and Council.
