CHAPTER 182.
AN ACT entitled an Act to repeal the Act of
eighteen hundred and sixty-eight, Chapter
four hundred and fourteen, entitled "An Act
to repeal an Act entitled an Act to repeal
Article sixty-three, Code of Public General
Laws, relating to Militia, and Sections six
hundred and fifty-two to seven hundred and
seventy, both inclusive, of Article four, Code of
Public Local Laws, relating to Militia in the
City of Baltimore, and to re-enact the same
with amendments," and to enact the following
in lieu thereof;
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Act of eighteen hundred
and sixty-eight, Chapter four hundred and four-
teen, entitled "An Act to repeal an Act entitled
an Act to repeal Article sixty-three, Code of Public
General Laws, relating to Militia, .and Sections
six hundred and fifty-two to seven hundred and
seventy, both inclusive, of Article four, Code of

Public Local Laws, relating to Militia in the City
of Baltimore, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments," be and the same is hereby repealed, and
the following sections, to be arranged in the Code
of Public General Laws, under an Article to be
entitled Military, be and the same are hereby en-
acted in lieu thereof;

1. The Militia of this State shall consist
of all able-bodied white male citizens, between
the ages of eighteen and forty-five years, and
