titled "Washington County," sub-title "Crier,"
he repealed and re-enacted so as to read aa follows ;

Salary of Crier
|
89. The Crier of the Circuit Court for said
county shall be entitled to two dollars and fifty
cents per day for each day he may be employed as
such.
|
In force.
|
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 181.
|
|
AN ACT to amend an Act entitled an Act to incor-
porate the "Maryland Floating Dock and Marine
Railway Company," passed twenty-fourth of
March, eighteen hundred and sixty-five.
|
Name changed
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the name of the "Maryland
Floating Dock and Marine Railway Company " is
hereby changed to the name of " Maryland Dock
and Wharf Company," and that the said Maryland
Floating Dock and Marine Railway Company, shall
be hereafter known by the name of " Maryland
Dock and Wharf Company," and under said name
have and succeed to all the rights, privileges, pow-
ers and property of the said " Maryland Floating

Powers,
|
Dock and Marine Railway Company," and shall
he subject to all the debts, engagements, contracts
and liabilities oi said last named Company.

Coal and mer-
chandise.
|
Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That the said " Mary-
land Dock and Wharf Company " shall have power
to receive, store and ship coal, and other produce,
goods, and merchandise, and to carry on the gene-
ral business of a Dock and Warehouse Company;
and to construct and build on any land they may
now own, or hereafter acquire, houses, docks,
wharves, warehouses or other buildings necessary
and proper, for the purpose of the same,
