Baptist Union Association to carry out and per-
form the objects for which it is incorporated.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 154.

AN ACT to repeal Sections one hundred and one,
one hundred and two, one hundred and five, and
one hundred and forty-five, of Article eleven, of .
the Code of Public Local Laws of Frederick
County, relating to the powers and duties of the
Mayor, Aldermen and Common Council of Fred-
erick, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.

Repealed and
re-enacted.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Sections one hundred and one,
one hundred and two, one hundred and five, and
one hundred and forty-five, of Article eleven, of
the Code of Public Local Laws, of Frederick
County, relating to the powers and duties of the
Mayor, Aldermen and Common Council of Fred-
erick, be, and the same, are hereby repealed and
re-enacted with amendments as follows:

Additional
Constables.
|
101. They may provide by ordinance for the ap-
pointment of one or more Constables, who shall,
within the police limits of the Corporation, have
all the powers possessed by Constables in this State,
|
Salary.
|
except as to the collection of debts, and the said
Constables shall receive a salary to he fixed by
ordinance annually, and shall not be entitled to
receive any fees, costs or other emoluments.
102. All officers of the Corporation not herein
named, who shall be deemed necessary to execute
the laws and ordinances of the Corporation, shall
