said bonds shall not be issued unless the said ordi-
nance shall be approved by the votes of a majority
of the legal voters of the said city cast at the time
and places provided for in the fourth section of the
said ordinance.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 144.
AN ACT to repeal Sections ninety-eight, ninety-
nine, one hundred, one hundred and one, one
hundred and two, one hundred and three, one
hundred and four, one hundred and five, one
hundred and six, one hundred and seven, one
hundred and eight, one hundred and nine, one
hundred and ten, one hundred and eleven, one
hundred and twelve, and one hundred and thir-
teen, of Article six of the Code of Public Local
Laws, under title of "Caroline County," sub-
title "Greensborough," and the Act of eighteen
hundred and sixty-six, Chapter ninety-six, and
to enact the following in lieu thereof.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That sections ninety-eight, ninety-
nine, one hundred, one hundred and one, one hun-
dred and two, one hundred and three, one hundred
and four, one hundred and five, one hundred and
six, one hundred and seven, one hundred and
eight, one hundred and nine, one hundred and
ten, one hundred and eleven, one hundred and
twelve, one hundred and thirteen, of the Code of
Public Local Laws, title "Caroline County," sub-
title "Greensborough," and the Act of eighteen
hundred and sixty-six, Chapter ninety-six, be and
the same are hereby repealed and the following
sections to he arranged in the Code of "Public
