inbefore provided.

SEC. 10. And be it enacted, That the act en-
titled an act to provide for the repairs of Public
Roads in Howard County, passed at January ses-
sion eighteen hundred and sixty-eight Chapter
three hundred and fifty eight, be and the same is
hereby repealed.

Repealed.

Sec. 11. And be it enacted, That this Act
shall take effect from and after the date of its pas-
sage.

CHAPTER 143.

AN ACT to authorize the Mayor and City Council
of Baltimore to Fund the Floating Debt of the
City, to an amount not exceeding eight hundred
thousand dollars.
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Mayor and City Council of
Baltimore be, and it is hereby authorized to fund
the floating debt of the city to an amount not ex-
ceeding eight hundred thousand dollars, and to
issue the bonds of the city for the amount of the
debt so funded, payable at the pleasure of the City
of Baltimore after July the first, nineteen hundred,
and bearing interest at the rate of six per cent, per

uary, April, July, and October, in each year until
redeemed, as provided in Section one of an ordi-
nance of the said the Mayor and City Council of
Baltimore entitled "An ordinance to authorize the
