CHAPTER 130.

AN ACT to amend an Act entitled "An Act to In-
corporate the Emmittsburg Railroad Company."

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That all subscribers and sharehold-
ers to the capital stock of the Emmittsburg Rail-
road Company shall have authority to vote at all

elections; provided, such subscribers or sharehold-
ers shall not be indebted to the Company for any
indebtedness actually due on account of any calls
upon their shares, at the time of so offering to vote.

Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That all elec-
tions, for which provision is made under the char-
ter of said Company, may be held at any time
after that fixed for the same by the charter; pro-
vided, at least ten days notice of the time and

CHAPTER 131.

 

AN ACT to provide for the appointment of an
additional Justice of the Peace in District num-
ber two, (Hall's Cross Roads.) in Harford
County.

 

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That in addition to the four Jus-
tices of the Peace in District number two, in Har-
ford County, now provided for by law, there shall
be one additional Justice of the Peace appointed
for said District, in said county, and the Governor
is hereby authorized and empowered to appoint
and commission one additional Justice of the Peace
for said District.
