business in the city of Baltimore, be and the same
is authorized and empowered to conduct, on its
said property, the business of manufacturing in the
same manner, and to the same extent, as if the
said property was located in the city of Baltimore;
Provided, nevertheless, that the principal office of
said corporation shall always be located in the city
of Baltimore.

Sec. 3. Be it further enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from its passage.

CHAPTER 110.
|
|
AN ACT to amend the Charter of the Western
Maryland Railroad Company, by increasing the
number of Directors in said Company, and
authorizing the appointment of six Directors
by the Mayor and City Council of Baltimore, in
addition to two already appointed by said Mayor
and City Council of Baltimore, and by author-
izing the said Company to issue its bonds to the
amount of fourteen hundred thousand dollars,
in addition to the amount already authorized,
and to secure the payment of the same by
Mortgage.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the Western Maryland Rail-
road Company be and it is hereby authorized and
empowered to issue its bonds to the amount of
fourteen hundred thousand dollars in addition to
the amount already authorized, payable on the
first day of January, nineteen hundred, with in-
terest at the rate of six per centum per annum,
payable half yearly in the city of Baltimore, on
the first day of January and July in each year,
and to execute a Mortgage upon all the road aud
railway of said Company, as now or hereafter to
be constructed, and all its franchises, rights, tolls
and revenues, rolling stock, machinery, and all its
