quired to levy a sum of money, sufficient for the
purpose of constructing a Bridge over Jones' Falls,
at Woodberry, in Baltimore County, said Bridge
to he of ninety feet span, elevated above the bed of
the stream, five feet higher than the present foot
Bridge, to have a central roadway twenty feet wide
in the clear, and advertise for proposals for said
work, and contract with the lowest responsible

bridge.

bidder for the same; provided, that the present
constituted authorities, having control of roads and
Bridges in Baltimore County, shall fail from any
cause to construct said Bridge, before the time of
making the next annual levy by the County Com-
missioners.

Proviso.

Sec. 2. Be it enacted, That this Act shall take
effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 96.

AN ACT to regulate the Drawing and Selection of
Jurors in Somerset and Worcester Counties.
|
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That the names of only one hundred
and fifty persons, duly qualified as Jurors, shall be
selected and placed in the box from which the
Jurors for service from Somerset County, and the
like number of only one hundred and fifty persons
as aforesaid from Worcester County, are to be
drawn, and that so much of the General Law, as
requires the selection of two hundred names for the
box in each of said Counties, be and the same is
hereby repealed, so far as the same relates to Som-
erset and Worcester Counties.
