Sec. 3. And be it enacted, That it shall be law-
ful for the Convention of the Protestant Episcopal
Church, of the Diocese of Easton, hereby incorpo-
rated within the nine Counties of the Eastern
Shore aforesaid, to divide or unite Parishes, to
alter or adjust their bounds and to constitute new
Parishes, in the manner prescribed in Section 33
of an Act for the establishment of Vestries in each
Parish in this State, passed 1798, Chapter 24.

Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
be and the same is hereby declared to be void and
of no effect unless it shall be accepted by said
Convention.

CHAPTER 24.

AN ACT to repeal Section nine hundred and
thirty-nine, Article four, of the Public Local
Laws, relating to Baltimore City, sub-title
" Water," as enacted by Chapter four hundred
sixty-seven, of the Acts of Assembly, passed at
the January Session, eighteen hundred and six-
ty-eight, and to re-enact the said Section so as to
read as follows:

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That Section nine hundred and
thirty-nine, Article four, Public Local Laws, re-
lating to Baltimore City, sub-title " Water," as
enacted by Chapter four hundred and sixty-seven,
of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland,
passed at the January Session, eighteen hundred
and sixty-eight, be and the same is hereby repealed,
and re-enacted so as to read as follows:
939. For the purpose of defraying all the ex-
penses and costs of said lands, "waters and water"
rights as shall have been taken for the purposes
aforesaid, and of constructing all works necessary
