Clerk at the expense of the said Company, hut if
set aside, the Court may direct another inquisition
to be taken, in the manner above prescribed, and
such inquisition shall describe the property taken,
or the bounds of the land condemned, and the
quantity or duration of the interest in the same,
valued for the Company, and such valuation when
paid or tendered to the owner or owners of said
property, or his, her or their legal representatives,
shall entitle the said Company to the estate and
interest in the same thus valued as fully as if it
had been conveyed by the owner or owners of the
same, and the valuation, if not received when ten-
dered, may at any time thereafter be recovered
from the Company, without costs, by the said
owner or owners, or his, her or their legal repre-
sentative or representatives.

Sec. 2. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 18.

AN ACT to amend an Act passed at the January
Session eighteen hundred and sixty-eight, Chap-
ter one hundred and sixty-one, entitled " An Act
to incorporate the Frederick and Emmittsburg
Railroad Company," extending said Road, and
the time for the commencement and completion
of the same.

SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That [that] Section twenty, of Chap-
ter one hundred and sixty-one, of the Law passed
at January Session eighteen hundred and sixty-
eight, be and the same is hereby repealed, and re-
enacted to read as follows ; That said Road shall
be commenced within six years, and completed

within twelve years from the date of this Act, other-
wise this Charter to be void; and the said Frederick
and Emmittsburg Railroad Company are hereby
authorized to extend their Road from Frederick to
