Sec. 4. And be it enacted, That any person ag-
grieved by the amount of damages assessed by the
examiners aforesaid, may appeal at any time

within six months to the Circuit Court of Worces-
ter County, and shall be entitled to a trial by a
jury, whose decision shall be final; but no person
shall prevent the Commissioners of Berlin from
opening, widening, or straightening any street
after payment, or tender of payment, of damages
assessed as above directed.

Sec. 5. And be it enacted, That this Act shall
take effect from the date of its passage.

CHAPTER 6.
|
|
AN ACT entitled a supplement to an Act, entitled
an Act to incorporate the Library Company of
the Baltimore Bar.
|
Charter con-
tinued.
|
WHEREAS, by an Act of the General Assembly
of Maryland, passed at December Session, eighteen
hundred and forty, Chapter eight, the Library
Company of the Baltimore Bar was incorporated
with a provision that the said Act should endure
for thirty years from the date of its passage, and
it is therefore necessary that said Act should he
continued, in order to prevent the dissolution of
said corporation.

Re-enacted.
|
SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the General Assembly
of Maryland, That said Act of Assembly, entitled
an Act to incorporate the Library Company of the
Baltimore Bar, be and it is hereby continued and
re-enacted without any limitation as to the dura-
tion of said corporation, but the right is hereby
expressly reserved to the General Assembly of
Maryland to alter or repeal this Act.
