Committee on Chesapeake Bay and its Tributaries.—Messrs.
Lankford, Hanunond, Dennis, Cooper, Meekins, Crawford,
Loker.

Committee on I,emigration.—Messrs. Ritter, Standish,
Duvall, Jordan, Myers, Winters, Crawford.

On motion of Mr. Ritter,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to re-
port a bill to add additional sections to Article 11 of theCode
of Public Local Laws of Frederick county relating to the
powers and duties of the Mayor, Aldermen, and Common
Council of Frederick, to follow section 169, added thereto by
the Act of 1868, Chapters 87.

Also,

Leave to report a bill to repeal sections one hundred
and one, one hundred and two, one hundred and five, and
one hundred and forty-five of Article eleven of the Code of
Public Local Laws of Frederick county, relating to the
powers and duties of the Mayor, Aldermen and Common
Council of Frederick, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.

On motion of Mr. Gatch,

Leave was granted to the Baltimore county delegation to
report a bill to repeal the 149th sec., Art. 81, Public General
Laws, so far as said section refers to the tax on commissions
of the inspector of Hay and Straw for the Hay Scales, located
in the eastern section of Baltimore city, at Canton.

On motion of Mr. Shipley,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Manufactures
to report a bill to make ten hours a legal day's work
in all the Cotton and Woollon Factories in the State of
Maryland.

On motion of Mr. McLane,

Leave was granted to the Committee on the Judiciary to
report a bill to continue the charter of the Library Com-
pany of the Baltimore Bar.

On motion of Mr. Kirk,

Leave was granted to Messrs. Kirk, Blake and Marshall
to report a bill to regulate the sale of calves slaughtered under
a certain age and weight.

On motion of Mr. Sanner,

Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
report a bill entitled a supplement to an act entitled an act
