On motion by Mr. Browne,

The Senate took up for consideration the appointment of
Andrew Grammer, as a Justice of the Peace for the 7th dis-
trict of Carroll county.

And on bis motion,

The Senate advised and consented to the said appointment,
agreeably to the nomination of the 16th February, inst.

On motion by Mr. Henkle,

The Senate resumed the consideration of Legislative busi-
ness.
