Additional Justices of the Peace for the 2d district, pro-
vided for by Act of the present session of the General As-
sembly:

William Mahoney, Jacob F. C. Miller.

ODEN BOWIE.
On motion by Mr. Biggs,

The Senate advised and consented to the aforegoing ap-
pointments, agreeably to the said nominations.

Mr. Biggs, from the Committee on Executive nominations
to which had been referred the nomination of Samuel Jardan
as a Justice of the Peace for Baltimore city, reported the
Committee were of opinion that said nomination ought to be
confirmed.

Whereupon, the Senate advised and consented to said ap-
pointment, agreeably to the nomination of the 23d February
instant.

Mr. Biggs, from the Committee on Executive nominations
to which had been referred the nomination of William Ma-
honey, as Justice of the Peace for the 2d district of Frede-
rick county, reported the Committee were of opinion that
said nomination ought to be confirmed.

Whereupon, the Senate advised and consented to said ap-
pointment, agreeably to the nomination of the 25th January
ultimo.

Mr. Biggs, from the Committee on Executive nominations
to which had been referred the nomination of Jacob T. C.
Miller, as a Justice of the Peace for the 2d district of Frede-
rick county, reported the Committee were of opinion that
said nomination ought not to be confirmed.

Whereupon, the. Senate refused to advise and consent to
said nomination.
