The Senate resumed the consideration of the unfinished
business of this morning, being the motion submitted by
Senator Malone, to wit: to postpone the further considera-
tion of the report submitted by the Committee on Executive
nominations in relation to the nomination of John H. T.
Magrude as State Librarian.

Mr. Malone withdrew his motion.
The. question then recurred, on the adoption of said report.
On the question being taken,

Will the Senate advise and consent to the said nomination?
It was determined, in the affirmative.
