The Senate advised and consented to the aforegoing ap-
pointment, agreeably to the nomination.

On motion by Mr. Henkle,

The Senate took up for consideration the appointments for
Anne Arundel county.

And on his motion,

The Senate advised and consented to the said appointments,
agreeably to the nominations of the 19th inst.

On motion by Mr. Hyland,

The Senate resumed the consideration of Legislative busi-
ness.

TUESDAY, February 1,1870.
On motion by Mr. Parker,

The Senate took up for consideration the appointments for
Calvert county.

And on his motion,

The Senate advised and consented to said appointments,
agreeably to the nominations of the 12th and 19th ultimo.

Mr. Biggs, from the Committee on Executive nominations
to which had been referred the appointment of John H. T.
Magruder, as State Librarian, reported it back to the Senate
with the recommendation that the Senate advise and consent
thereto.
