Gentlemen of the Senate of Maryland:

I desire to withdraw the name of Aloysius T. Orndorff,
nominated as Justice of the Peace for 1st district of Carroll
county, and place in nomination in his stead, William Fisher
as Justice of the Peace forbid district.,

The Senate advised and consented to the aforegoing ap-
pointments agreeably to the nomination, in the place of Aloy-
sius T. Orndorff, withdrawn.

On motion by Mr. Malone,

The Senate took up for consideration the appointments for
Wicomico county.

And on his motion,

The Senate advised and consented to the said appointments,
agreeably to the nominations of the 16th inst.

On motion by Mr. Henry,

The Senate took up for consideration the appointments for
Dorchester county.

And on bis motion,

The .Senate advised and consented to said appointments,
agreeably to the nominations of the 16th inst.

On motion by Mr. Parker,

The vote by which the nomination of Jesse Carr, as Jus-
tice of the Peace for, the 3d district of Calvert county, was
confirmed, was re-considered.

On motion by Mr. Malone,

The Senate resumed the consideration of Legislative busi-
ness.
