A bill entitled an Act for the better protection of the own-
ers of stallions in Montgomery county,

Endorsed, "Rejected by yeas and nays."

A bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 922 to 927 inclu-
sive, of Article 4, of the Code of Public Local Laws, relating
to the City of Baltimore, and to re-enact the same with
amendments. Subject, "Home of the Friendless."

Endorsed, "Passed, by yeas and. nays."

A bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 82 and 84 of Ar-
ticle 10, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title, "Dorchester
County," sub-title, "Collectors," relating to the redemption
of real estate sold for taxes, and the mode of recovering pos-
session thereof,

Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and. nays."

A bill entitled an Act for the benefit of the Cambridge Fe-
male Academy,

Endorsed, "Passed, by yeas and. nays with proposed amend-
ments:"

Amend title so as to read: Entitled an Act to divert a cer-
tain sum of money in the hands of Commissioners to the
School Commissioners of Dorchester county for the use of the
public schools in said county.

Amend section 1, line 4, strike out all after the word
"lands" to the end of the section, and insert : to the Board
of County School Commissioners of Dorchester county, for the
use of the public schools in said county.

Which were concurred in.
