A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 6, of Article 56, of
the Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Billiards,"

Endorsed, "Passed by yeas with proposed amendment:"

Amend sections 2 and 3, by striking out the same, and in-
serting in lieu thereof the following:

Section 6. And be it enacted, That a license may be grant-
ed to any person who may apply for permission to keep a
billiard table, for which license there shall be paid the sum
of fifty dollars, and that for every additional billiard table
kept by the same person or persons, he, she or they, shall
pay a license of twenty-five dollars, provided, that all said
additional tables shall be kept in the same department.
Provided, that this Act shall not apply to any billiard table
kept for private use.
