A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 10, of Article 97, of
the Code of Public General Laws, relating to State Wharfin-
ger and Wharves, and to re-enact the same with amend-
ments.

Endorsed, "Considered, House amendment receded from
and bill rejected by yeas and nays."

A bill entitled an Act to provide for levying a tax upon
the owners of dogs in Calvert county, and to appropriate a
portion thereof as a compensation to any person killing foxes
in said county,

Endorsed, " Considered and passed by yeas and nays."

A bill entitled an Act to amend the Act of 1868, chapter
253, entitled an Act to remove cases of guardianship from
Somerset and Worcester counties to Wicomico county,

Endorsed, " Passed by yeas and nays."

A bill entitled an Act for the relief of John B. Magruder,
late Inspector of Tobacco, Warehouse No. 1, and of persons
employed under him in said Warehouse,

Endorsed, "Reported favorably from the Committee on
Claims, read a second time and under provisions of the Con-
stitution, section 27, Article 3, a third time and passed by
yeas and nays."

A bill entitled an Act to increase the number of incorpora-
tors in an Act entitled an Act to incorporate the Westernport
and Potomac Railroad Company, passed at the January ses-
sion in 1853, chapter 219,

Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays."

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Salisbury Gas
Light Company,

Endorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays, with proposed amend-
ment."
AMENDMENT PROPOSED.

Section 4, line 12, strike out all after the word "Salisbury,"
to word "to," line 13, and insert: subject to such rules and
regulations as may be prescribed by the corporate authorities
of said town.
