die at twelve o'clock, midnight, the 4th day of April.

Mr. Carroll submitted the following message :

BY THE SENATE,

April 4th, 1870.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates:

We have received your message proposing to adjourn sine
die, the two bodies, at twelve o'clock to-night, and concur
therein.

AUGUSTUS GASSAWAY,

Secretary.
Which was read.

Mr. Clarke called for the yeas and nays.
On the question being put,
It was determined in the affirmative.
