Mr. Carroll submitted the following message : BY THE SENATE, April 4th, 1870.
We have received your message proposing to adjourn sine
Secretary.
Mr. Clarke called for the yeas and nays.
AFFIRMATIVE. Messrs. President, Miller,
NEGATIVE. Messrs. Biggs, Jump,
Said message was then sent to the House of Delegates.
The vote was reconsidered by which said message was
Mr. Clarke submitted the following message: BY THE SENATE, April 4th, 1870.
We have upwards of fifty House bills before this Body.
