Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on the Judiciary.

A bill entitled an Act to establish voting precincts in
Westminster district No. 7 of Carroll county.

Which was read the first time and referred to Senators
Browne, Biggs and Wilson.

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Chestertown Gas
Light Company.

Which was read the first time and referred to Senators
Welch, Earle and Parker.

A bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1864, chapter
71, adding additional sections to the Code of Public General
Laws, in relation to "Fish and Fisheries," sub-title "Waters
of the Potomac River," lying between the mouth of New
Creek and Weaverton Dam, and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

Which was read the first time and referred to Senators
Maddox, Parker and Stephenson.

A bill entitled an Act to protect Prairie Chickens in Wor-
cester county.

Which was read the first time and referred to Senators
Timmons, Hyland and Malone.

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Patapsco Chemi-
cal Works.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

And returned the following Senate bills severally en-
dorsed, "Passed by yeas and nays."

A bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 44, 45 and 48, of
Article 16, of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled
" Prince George's County," underhead of collectors, enacted
by the Act of 1868, chapter 330, and to repeal sections 33,
34 and 35, of Article 81, of the Code of Public General Laws,
entitled " Revenue and Taxes," enacted by the Act of 1865,
chapter 155, and section 74, of Article 81, of the Code of
Public General Laws, under same head in so far as the same
may relate to Prince George's county, and to re-enact the
following, as sections 44, 45 and 49, of Article 16, of the
Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Prince George's county,'"
under head of "Collectors."

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Liberty Branch
Railroad Company.

A bill entitled an Act to enable the Mayor and City Coun-
