from Baltimore city.

A bill entitled an Act to prevent the increase of gates upon
the public roads of Anne Arundel and Prince George's coun-
ties.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Senators
from Anne Arundel, Prince George's and Carroll counties.

A bill entitled an Act to provide for repairing the old
Jail of Harford county, or the building of a new Jail, at
the discretion of the County Commissioners of said county.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Senators
from Harford and Washington counties, and the first Legis-
lative district of Baltimore city.

A bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Rockville Town-
Hall Company, in the town of Rockville, Montgomery county.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

A bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 1 and 6, of chap-
ter 329, of the Acts of the General Assembly, passed at Jan-
uary session, 1867, entitled an Act to provide for the selec-
tion, drawing and summoning of Jurors in the several coun-
ties, and prescribing their qualifications, and to re-enact the
same with amendments.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

A bill entitled an Act to amend Article 30, of the Code of
Public General Laws, by adding thereto additional sections
regulating the execution of the death penalty.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Judicial Proceedings.

A bill entitled an Act to add an additional section to Arti-
cle 20, of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled "Talbot
County," to come in after section 81 of said Article.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Senators
from Talbot, Frederick and St. Mary's counties.

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 13, of the Code of
Public General Laws, title "Landlord and Tenant," sub-title
"Distress for Rent," and re-enact the same with an amend-
ment.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
