rows Bridge and Navigation Company, and to repeal an Act
passed January 21, 1820, entitled an Act to erect a bridge
over the Narrows of Kent Island, is Queen Anne's county,
and the supplement thereto, so far as the same may be neces-
sary to carry into effect the provisions of this law.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Senators
from Queen Anne's, Kent and Somerset counties.

A bill entitled an Act to add the following sub-sections to
Article 12, of the Code of Public Local Laws, title, "Harford
County," sub-title, "Sheriff," to come in after section 136.

Which was read the first time and referred to Senators
Stephenson, Grove and Kimmel.

A bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 324 and 325 of the
Code of Public Local Laws, relating to the town of Williams-
port, Washington county, and to re-enact the same with
amendments.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Senators
from Washington and Harford counties, and the first legisla-
tive district of Baltimore city.

A bill entitled an Act to provide for the per diem and mile-
age of jurors, in Talbot and Caroline counties.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Senators
from Talbot, Caroline and Dorchester counties.

A bill entitled an Act to repeal section 640 of Article 4, of
the Code of Public Local Laws, title, "City of Baltimore,"
and to re-enact the same with an amendment.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Senators
from Baltimore city.

A bill entitled an Act to empower the Mayor and Common
Council of Manchester to subscribe to the capital stock of the
Parkton and Manchester Railroad Company.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Senators
from Carroll, Cecil and Prince George's counties.

A bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of the town of
Westernport, Allegany county, passed at January session
1868, chapter 40.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the County Commission-
ers of Anne Arundel county to correct the assessment of cer-
tain real estate in said county and to refund taxes paid in
