Said bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, to whom was
referred House bill entitled an Act supplementary to an Act
passed at the January session, 1867, chapter 247, entitled
an Act to establish and incorporate an Asylum for the Deaf
and Dumb of the State of Maryland, and also an Act passed
at the January session, 1868, chapter 409, entitled an Act to
amend and add additional sections to the Act of 1867, chap.
247, reported it without amendment.

Said bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Wilson, from the Select Committee, to whom was re-
ferred House bill entitled an Act for the better protection of
rabbits in Prince George's county, reported it without amend-
ment.

Said bill was then read the second, time.

Mr. Spates, from the Committee on Corporations, to whom
was referred House bill entitled an Act to relieve and pro-
tect minor operatives in the cotton and woolen factories in
the State of Maryland, reported it unfavorably.

On motion by Mr. Clarke,
The further consideration of said report was postponed.

Mr. Spates, from the Committee on Corporations, to whom
was referred House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the
Citizens' Bank of Cumberland, reported it without amend-
ment.

Said bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Spates, from the Committee on Corporations, to whom
was referred. House bill entitled, an Act to repeal, section II,
chapter 153, passed January session, 1868, entitled an Act
to repeal an Act passed at the January session, 1866, entitled
an Act to incorporate a company to build a turnpike road
from Union Bridge, in Carroll county, to Unionville, in
Frederick county, and to re-enact the same with amendments,
reported it without amendment.

Said bill was then read the second time.

Also, from the same Committee, to whom was referred
House bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Friendship
Horse Thief Association of Washington county, reported it
without amendment.

Said bill was then read the second time,

Mr. Spates, from the Committee on Corporations, to whom
was referred House bill entitled an Act supplementary to an
