Said bill was then read the second time.

Also, from the Committee, to whom was referred House
bill entitled an Act to repeal section 10, of Article 5, of the
Code of Public General Laws, entitled "Appeals," and insert
in lieu thereof the following, reported it without amendment.

Said bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Earle, from the Committee on Finance, to whom was
referred House bill entitled an Act providing for the erection
of an additional Live Stock Scale, and appropriating a sum
of money therefor, reported it without amendment.

Said bill was then read the second time.

Also, from the same Committee, to whom was referred House
bill entitled an Act to appropriate the sum of $69,296.28, to
pay the claims of the Mechanics and others, the amounts due
them for work done, &c., in the erection of the Governor's
Mansion, reported it without amendment.

Also, from the same Committee, to whom was referred
House bill entitled an Act to repeal the 2d and 3d sections of
the Act of 1868, chapter 302, entitled an Act to provide for
refunding money paid into the Treasury, reported it without
amendment.

Said bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Clarke, from the Select Committee, to whom. was refer-
red House bill entitled an Act to amend the Act of 1868,
chapter 406, entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1867, chap-
ter 184, entitled an Act to repeal Article 71, of the Code of
Public General Laws entitled "Oysters," by adding the fol-
lowing section thereto, reported it without amendment.

Said bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Fields, from the Select Committee, to whom was refer-
red House bill entitled an Act to create an additional elec-
tion district in Caroline county, to be styled "District No. 6,"
or Andersontown district, reported it unfavorably, and the
report was adopted.

Mr. Clarke, from the Select Committee, to whom was referred
House bill entitled an Act to repeal sections 6, 7 and 8 of
Article 98, of the Public General Laws, entitled "Wild
Fowl," and to re-enact the same with amendments, reported
it with the following amendment:

Amend by repealing sections 3, 6. 7 and 8, of Article 98,
