Mr. Snyder asked and obtained the unanimous consent of
the Senate to submit the following message :

BY THE SENATE,

March 28,1870.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates :

We respectfully ask your Honorable Body to return to the
Senate for further consideration the bill entitled an Act to
amend the charter of the City of Annapolis.
By order,

A. GASSAWAY,
Secretary.

Which was read, assented to, and sent to the House of
Delegates.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to make valid a deed from
the County Commissioners of Prince George's county, to
Charles Parker,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to refund to John D. Bow-
ling and John Bowling, of Prince George's county, moneys
erroneously paid by them to Inspectors of Tobacco in Balti-
more city, for outage and storage,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to pay the claims of Henry
Brooke, C. C. Magruder, Jr.. and J. N. W. Wilson, recom-
mended by the Comptroller,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to enable the Mayor and
City Council of Baltimore, to endorse or guarantee the first
mortgage bonds of the Western Maryland Railroad Company
to the amount of six hundred thousand dollars,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the Baltic
more and Galveston Steamship and Warehouse Company,

Was read the third lime and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:
