The bill entitled an Act for the better protection of Par-
tridges, Pheasants and Woodcock, in Harford county,

Being upon its second reading,

Mr. Streett submitted the following amendment:

Section 1, line 4, strike out the word "Woodcock."

Which was rejected.

On motion of Mr. Gorman,

The vote by which the amendment was rejected was recon-
sidered.

The question then recurring upon the amendment,
It was rejected.

The bill was then read a second time and ordered to be en-
grossed for a third reading.

The bill entitled an Act regulating fences in Lake's,
Straight's and Drawbridge districts, of Dorchester county,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act supplemental to an Act to author-
ize and require the County Commissioners of Baltimore
county to convey a lot of ground to the Board of School
Commissioners of Baltimore county, to be used for a Public
Schoolhouse site, passed 1868, chapter 393,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to repeal section 174, of Article 4,
of the Public Local Laws relating to the city of Baltimore,
and re-enact the same with amendments,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reading.

The bill entitled an Act to authorize, empower and require
William Stewart, Administrator and Trustee, to sell the real
estate of Isaac Stewart, late of Somerset county, deceased,
under a decree of the Orphans' Court for Somerset county;
to pay over the balance in his hands, as Administrator and
Trustee as aforesaid, after satisfying all just debts of the said
Isaac, including costs of administration and Trustee's com-
missions, to Anne Stewart,

Was read a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a
third reabing.
