The rules being suspended,
Mr. Henkle submitted the following amendment:

Amend section 1 by striking out the word "and," in line
8, and insert after the word session, in the same line, the
words: of the session of 1872, and of any special session that
may be held in the meantime, and in line 17, strike out
"two" and insert four.

Which was read and adopted.
The section, as amended, was then read and adopted.

The question then recurred upon the engrossment of said
bill,

Mr. Stephenson called for the yeas and nays,
On the question being put,
It was determined in the affirmative.

Oysters for sale in the waters of Saint Leonard's creek, Island
creek and Battle creek, in Calvert county,
