Which was read the first time and referred to the Senators
from Anne Arundel Baltimore and Frederick counties.

A bill entitled, an Act to authorize and. direct the County
Commissioners of Wicomico county, to levy a sum of money
to pay the expense of legal proceedings about to be instituted
for the recovery of the money necessary for the erection of a
Court House and Jail for said county, &c.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Senators
from Wicomico, Dorchester and Caroline counties.

A bill entitled an Act to provide for the renewal of certain
bonds and certificates of indebtment of the State already
due and of others falling due in the year 1870.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Finance.

A bill entitled an Act for the better protection of Fur in

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the Roman Catholic
Archbishop of Baltimore to sell a certain parcel of land.
