or manipulated fertilizers, labeled in accordance with the
provisions of this Article, or who shall use the brand or
trade mark of any manufacturer or dealer other than his own,
shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall, upon
conviction thereof in any Court having jurisdiction, be pun-
ished by a fine not exceeding one hundred dollars, and im-
prisonment in jail not exceeding six months, or by both fine
and imprisonment, at the discretion of the Court before whom
he shall be tried.

On motion by Mr. Carroll,
Said amendment was ordered to be printed.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to authorize and empower
the County Commissioners of Caroline county to make sale
of a part of the land belonging to the Almshouse property
of said county,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitle I an Act to amend an Act entitled
an Act to incorporate companies to make several turnpike
roads through Baltimore county and other for purposes, &c.

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to prevent stationary or
permanent weirs or hedges being placed in the western
branch of the Patuxent river and its tributaries,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to amend the Act of 1868,
chapter 253, entitled an Act to remove cases of guardian-
ship from Somerset and Worcester counties to Wicomico
county,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to incorporate the West-
ern Maryland Produce Co-operative Association,

Was read the second time.

Mr. Wilson submitted the following amendment:
Amend title to read Maryland' Farmers' and Planters'
Produce Co-operative Association wherever it occurs.
Which was read and adopted.
The title as amended was then read and adopted.
On motion by Mr. Wilson,

The vote by which the first section was adopted,
Was reconsidered.
