was granted, reported a bill entitled an Act supplementary to
an Act for the establishment of an Academy at Elkton, in Cecil
county, passed at December session 1817.

Which was read the first time.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to amend an Act entitled
an Act to incorporate the President and Directors of the
Chesapeake Fire Insurance Company of Baltimore,

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal the twentieth sec-
tion of the Act of 1866, chapter 48, entitled an Act to incor-
porate the President and Directors of the Baltimore and
Pikesville Railroad Company, and re-enact a substitute
therefor,

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act supplementary to an Act
entitled ah Act to make certain improvements in the vicinity
of the State Live Stock Scales, passed at the January session,
1864, chapter 120, by appropriating a sum of money to ena-
ble the Commissioners therein named to discharge the liabili-
ties thereunder,

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed
for a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to amend an Act entitled
an Act to incorporate the Towsontown Railroad Company,
passed at the January session, 1858,

Was read the third time, and passed by yeas and nays, as
follows:
