Which was read, and 600 copies ordered to be printed.
On motion by Mr. Wilson, and by unanimous consent,

Leave was granted to Senators Wilson, Browne and Sny-
der, to introduce a bill entitled an Act to repeal so much of
section 45, of chapter 330, of the Code of Public Local
Laws, entitled "Prince George's county," under head of
"Collectors," as relates to the publication of lists of delin-
quent tax-payers, and to add an additional section to said
Act, providing for a deduction on county taxes paid directly
to the County Treasurer within a stated period.

Mr. Earle submitted the following message :

BY T HE SENATE,

February 25th, 1870.
Gentlemen of the House of Delegates :

If it be the pleasure of your Honorable Body, we propose
a joint assembly of the two Houses at a quarter before eight
o'clock this evening, in the Hall of the House of Delegates,
to hear the eulogy of S. Teackle Wallis, Esq., on the life
and character of George Peabody.
By order,
A. GASSAWAY,
Secretary.

Which was read assented to, and sent to the House of
Delegates.

Mr. Malone, from the Select Committee to whom was re-
ferred House bill entitled an Act authorizing the County
Commissioners of Wicomico county to appoint three Trustees
for the Almshouse of said county,

Reported it without amendment.
Said bill was then read the second time.

Mr. Grove, from the Select Committee, to whom the leave
was granted, reported a bill entitled, an Act to repeal section
16, of Article 56, of the Code of Public General Laws, enti-
tled "Billiards."

Which was read the first time.

Mr. Fields, from the Select Committee, to whom the leave
was granted, reported a bill entitled an Act to repeal section
171. of Article 93, of the Code of Public General Laws, rela-
ting to the investment by Guardians of the proceeds of sale
of real estate belonging to their Wards, and sold by a Trustee
in Equity, and to re-enact the same as follows.

Which was read the 1st time.
