Leave was granted to the Committee on Corporations to
introduce a bill entitled "an Act to alter and amend the
charter of the Fire Insurance Company of Allegany county,
so as to enable said Company to declare semi-annual instead
of annual dividends."

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal the Act of 1868,
chap. 234, relating to the annual donation of five hundred
dollars to the West Nottingham Academy, in Cecil county,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to amend an Act entitled an
Act to incorporate the Equitable Gas Light Company of Bal-
timore city, passed at January session, 1867, chap. 132,
