Mr. Fields, from the Select Committee to whom was re-
ferred House bill entitled an Act to repeal section 138 of
Article 6, title "Caroline county," sub-title "Justices of
the Peace and Constables," and to re-enact the following
section in lieu thereof.

Mr. Fields moved that said bill be read a second time this
day.

The yeas and nays were called, as required by section 27,
of Article 3 of the Constitution, and appeared, as follows :

AFFIRMATIVE.

Messrs. Biggs, Kimmel,
Browne, Maddox,
Carroll, Malone,
Clarke, Miller,
Denson, Parker,
Earle, Snyder,
Fields, Stephenson,
Hyland, Timmons,

NEGATIVE—None.

So two-thirds of all the Senators elected having voted in
the affirmative, it was read the second and third time, and
passed by yeas and nays, as follows :

Article 6, title "Caroline County," sub-title "Elections,"
(of the Code of Public Local Laws) and to enact the follow-
ing section in lien thereof.
Reported it without amendment.

Mr. Fields moved that said bill be read the second time
this day.
