The Senate bill entitled an Act to require the Mayor and
City Council of Baltimore to take charge of and keep in re-
pair all turnpike roads, highways and bridges within the
city limits,

Being upon its second reading, was
On motion by Mr. Henkle,
Ordered to be postponed until Tuesday next.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 7, of an
Act entitled an Act to amend Article 4, of the Code of Pub-
lic Local Laws, title "Guano," and to re-enact the same in
the following amended form,

Being upon its second reading, was
On motion by Mr. Henkle,
Ordered to be postponed until Tuesday next.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to extend the charter of
the Powhatan Steamboat Company,

Was read the second time, and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

By unanimous consent, Mr. Grove, from the Committee on
Federal Relations, to whom was referred the Joint Resolu-
tions rejecting the proposed 15th Amendment to the Consti-
tution of the United States, reported them without amend-
ment.

Said Resolutions were then read the second time.
By unanimous consent,

Mr. Grove, from the Select Committee, to whom the leave
was granted, reported a bill entitled an Act to enlarge he
powers of' the Commissioners of Washington county, under
Article 21, of the Code of Public Local Laws, entitled
"Washington County" under the head of County Commis-
sioners," by adding thereto the following sub-sections.

Which was read the first time.

The Senate bill entitled an Act supplemental to, and to
amend an Act entitled an Act to incorporate the Maryland
Agricultural and Mechanical Association, passed March 19,
1867,

Was read a third time and passed, by yeas and nays, as
follows:
