Which was read the first time.

Mr. Timmons, from the Select Committee to whom the
leave was granted, reported a bill entitled an Act to repeal
sections one and four, of chapter 81, of the Code of Public
General Laws, passed at 110.6 January session, 1865, in rela-
tion to the publication of laws.

Which was read the first time

The Joint Resolutions in relation to the six per cent. divi-
dends on the three millions of stock subscribed by the State
of Maryland to the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Company,
by the Act of the General Assembly of 1835, chapter 395,

Being upon their second reading, were,
On motion by Mr. Kimmel,

Ordered to be postponed until Thursday, February 17th,
1870.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to repeal section 38, of
Article 22, of the Code of Public Local Laws for Worcester
county, passed at the January session of 1868,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to regulate the number of
County Commissioners for Worcester county,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to amend the Act of 1841,
chapter 32, entitled an Act to incorporate the Maryland
College of Pharmacy, and to renew and extend the charter
of the same,

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to enable the Mount Ver-
non Manfacturing Company of Baltimore city, incorporated
under Article 26 of the Public General Laws of this State,
as the same is amended by the Act of January session 1868,
chapter 471, to conduct its manufacturing upon property by it
owned in Alexandria, Va.

Was read the second time and ordered to be engrossed for
a third reading.

The Senate bill entitled an Act to amend the charter of the
Western Maryland Rail' Road Company, by increasing the
number of Directors in said company and authorize the ap-
pointment of six Directors by the Mayor and City Council
