The bill entitled an Act to regulate and make uniform the
fees of Justices of the Peace.

Which was read and referred, to the Committee on Judicial
Proceedings.

A bill entitled an Act to repeal so much of section 12, of
chapter 267, of the Act passed March, 1860, entitled an Act
to incorporate a Company to open, in. part, and improve the
Road from Frederick city, in Frederick county, to the Spout
Spring, &c.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Corporations.

A bill entitled an Act to refund to John R. Robertson, late
Sheriff of Charles county, the sum of forty-nine dollars and
fourteen cents, being interest upon the balance of his ac-
count, adjusted by the Comptroller, September 30th, 1869,
under Act of 1868, chapter 210.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Finance.

A bill entitled a supplement to the Act entitled an Act to
create and incorporate the Monocacy and Montgomery Turn-
pike Company, chapter 179, passed January session, 1865, to
repeal sections two, three and seven thereof, and to re-enact the
same with amendments.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Com-
mittee on Corporations.

A bill entitled an Act to authorize the Governor to appoint
an additional Justice of the Peace for election district No. 1.
in Worcester county.

mons, Earle and Welch.

A bill entitled an Act to continue in force an Act entitled
an Act for the benefit of the Library Company of the Balti-
more Bar.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Finance.

A bill entitled an Act to amend an Act passed at the Gene-
ral Assembly of Maryland, in the year 1858, chapter 276,
entitled an Act to incorporate the Maryland Mutual Life and
Fire Insurance Company by changing the corporate name
thereof.

Which was read the first time and referred to the Commit-
tee on Corporations.
